Hey all I wanted to take a little time and post a recommendation for a book I've just finished reading that I really enjoyed. The Land of the Undying Lord by J.T. Wright is incredibly good. I mean just stupidly entertaining.
The book focuses on a few characters but the main one is Trent a freshly created human summon. He is biologically twelve years of age but has no memories and only some implanted knowledge and instincts. He is pretty much literally a tabula rasa. The story follows him as he tries to adjust in this world that he doesn't understand that is filled with classes, trials and monsters.
All the characters are well done even if a bit tropey. The action is good, the dialogue is good, and the story is interesting.
Overall I really recommend this novel for an interesting read.
