I have listened to three different books on Audible that are considered "Slice of Life" LitRPG.
Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree which feels like a Hallmark movie in book form. Not much happening, very wholesome, etc.
Monster Menu by Terrell Garret about a food truck owner who ends up becoming a chef in a fantasy world. More action than Legends and Lattes but nothing too stressful.
Daily Grind by Argus - It is labeled as slice of life but it has a lot more action, suspense and violence than the other two books. It is very light on game mechanics though, no long list of stats, no one is leveling up, etc. Just a skill here and there they pick up as a loot drop.
These books are all very different from one another but are all considered slice of life. Can someone tell me what makes a book 'slice of life" vs LitRPG or Gamelit?'
Edit - Thank you for everyone who helped me understand what slice of life means when I see it in the title. I actually like the adventures sticking to one area rather than a big world / city.
