I am West Latvian, and we do not get taught much of this periods Lithuania. Most of the meat we get about you is when Livonia had already been established and you are mingling with Poland. My only context of the region in this period is "Butthurt Kurši fought bad neighbors Žemaiši with help from Crusaders, and sometimes Kurši backstabbed Germans by switching sides with varied success". Cool. But from what I understand, by the time Curonia was becoming Jesus land, surviving Lithuanians tribes had already been united? By who exactly? What was the pinacle of power? What were the differences between the bigger Lithuanian groups? Was there infighting? Are western and eastern Lithuanians distinguishable groups (I dont mean Ruthenians)? Are Žemaiši more "Lithuanian"?
