We all have favorite literary characters that we can sympathize with or see ourselves in for their positive or sympathetic characteristics. But how about characters you can relate to for less than ideal qualities? For example, I can relate to both Dr. Frankenstein and the monster, Frankenstein for his blind ambition, his arrogance, his selfishness, his inability to recognize his faults or admit mistakes, and I can relate to the monster for his anger and vengefulness at the people he felt wronged by.
