Having motherboard troubles - no video, no USB power

I am following the crypto badger build and just got an asrock 970 Extreme4 mobo. Only 2 GPUs instead of 3. I have only one DIMM 4GB 1333 RAM installed. Booting into LTC Rabbit from USB key. I only have a DVI monitor and USB mouse/keyboard (no PS2).

Everything is plugged in, powers up fine. Then, the LED dsiplay on the motherboard shows "OS", there's no power to USB, and no video output on either card. All the fans work. CPU is seated properly, no beeping from audio jack on boot (not 100% sure it will beep throug the audio jack to be frank).

I am not sure what to do. If I could get a video output, I would at least know it's booting. If I could get USB power, I would know that boot from USB would work.

Any help is very much appreciated.
