I've been running my rig (unattended/untouched) for some time, and about a month I got an email from one of my backup pools that my worker was down. Weird I thought,as I hadn't mined on that pool for about a month.
I thought nothing of it, simply thought that it was a mistake. But then would get these emails about my down'ed worker about once a week or so. Went to the pool, only to see that I had unclaimed ltc. In fact, it showed that I had recently mined (very little).
So I decided to be more on top of it. Well, I just got an email of a downed worker. Went to this pool (my secondary) as well as log'ing into my main pool (coinotron). Looks like I was mining on my sec pool for a couple of minutes - then my rig switched back to coinotron as my hashing is getting back up to speed.
Again my main pool for mining is coinotron, using an ubuntu computer running cgminer 3.x. Should I just leave it be. Perhaps the pool is dragging and hence the reason why cgminer goes to the second pool in my list? Or should I try and track down what's going on.
What are people's thoughts? Does anyone else see this in cgminer - it switching for a couple of minutes (<30) to a secondary pool only to switch back?
Thanks in advance.
