I am 35 and have been working on the web for about 13 years. I really think that this whole altcoin thing will further democratize currency and ultimately make governments more accountable because it's taking one more piece of the pie away from them.

I'm speccing out my first mining rig. Used my MacBook Pro and made like .0002496 litecoins. I'm hooked. But I need to not fry the computer I used to make money with. (Freelance)

So I am going to buy another one. Anyway, after obsessing and learning about bitcoin, I'm extra happy I found litecoin. The barrier to entry is lower and I think it has more longevity.

Tl;dr excited about litecoin and wanted to introduce myself.
