My private insurance (Kaiser if you’re in the states) only covers 50% of weighloss meds. So they told me I owe $722 for what would be a month supply when I’m on the 3mg dose. I transferred my prescription over to Walgreens to use the manufacturer coupon. Their regular price was $1,700 and the manufacturer coupon took it down to $1,400. Obviously it would be better to go with my insurance but I still can’t afford that. When the pharmacist was putting in the coupon stuff she asked me if I had insurance and I gave her my Kaiser card. Should I have said no? What do you have to do to get the price to the $25 that the coupon advertises?
