Wi-Fi undetectable and brightness control not working on Asus VivoBook 15 OLED (Linux Mint)
Post Body

I've recently bought a new laptop -- Asus VivoBook 15 OLED. After installing Linux Mint, I've came across different issues that I am unable to solve:

  • My Wi-Fi connection is not working, i.e. I can't even find enable it to work (see this screenshot).
  • The brightness control is not working at all so I can't use this option at all. I've already updated all possible drivers.

Here are my system's specifications:

Do you have any suggestions so I can use my laptop normally? Please, I need answers, not lessons.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Updating the kernel from 5.4 to 5.13 has solved both issues. My Wi-Fi and video drivers are working now. Kudos to u/spxak1 for noticing this issue!
