I love rss, and hate basically all the feed readers.
Post Body

honestly, i find liferea good, but it's not available on windows at work or on my phone.

is there an android client that works like email? is there a windows/linux cross compatible client that has some uhmph? i use quiterss now, and it's FINE but it crashes on windows.

i am getting to the point where I think my best option is to use rawdog and access it as a static site (rawdog can put out html). anyone have experience templating rawdog? i am conceiving something very basic with frames for navigating folders/feeds. i'm also thinking of putting out something bootstrappy that tracks read-status in json, but all of this is honestly a little over my head and is gonna take a lot of reading.

this is a want-to-have, not a need-to-have

i also want some regexp replacement, so i can get links to the .compact version of reddit, or, when following comment links, append ?context=8 or... y'know. whatever.

edit:

i'm also open to a browser plugin, but i want all the storage to be local. i don't want to give all my rss links to some third party.
