I have dual monitor setup to my desktop pc. the windows on my secondary monitor randomly move to the other screen after a unlocking the screen. this behavior happens on kde and gnome.

i switched to xfce. And now after I unlock the screen, the display settings defaults back to mirror screens!!!

I somehow think this is an Xorg config problem.

can someone guide me manually config xorg for the common 2 monitor setup... 1920x1080 identical. 1 kb and mouse connected.

or atleast point me in the right direction...

also it doesn't specify the monitor ports... i think this is where the problem is
