Limiting nework time with cron?

I'd like to have my computer limit my internet connectivity by turning networking on and off at certain times of the day. Cron seems to be the right fit for the job, but I'm a bit of a moron and can't seem to get it working.
crontab -l outputs as follows [less the introductory comments]:
0 13 * * * nmcli networking on
0 14 * * * nmcli networking off
29 19 * * * nmcli networking on
0 21 * * * nmcli networking off
Any help is greatly appreciated.
