Opening apps via terminal
Post Body

Hello all,

I’m using pop os and a few apps I have used need to be run by the terminal.

Other apps don’t need to but I’ve done it before just because.

Is there a good reason to do it besides maybe debugging info?

Like when I do it for Lutris it shows me what app version I’m using, which Mesa driver I’m using, some other graphics stuff, location of the file it’s opening, etc.

Not much happens while it’s running but other apps I’ve tried have tons of lines in the terminal while doing stuff in the opened app.
