Looking for a German based linux distribution.

Hello.

As the title suggests, I have a Lenovo G580 laptop from 2014 ( yes, 9 year-old laptop...) that currently runs Windows 10 (latest build) . It is a spare machine as I already have a newer laptop with Windows on it.

The old Lenovo laptop has 4gb ram , an intel i5 3230M processor with intel hd graphics 4000 and a dedicated NVIDIA geforce 610M graphics card with 1gb of vram and around 500 of HDD.

As mentioned above, since this is a SPARE machine, I would like to replace Windows with a Linux distribution. However, I would like that distribution to be German based. I.e made by a German company.

Call me crazy but even though i am not German myself, i have a soft spot for Germany ^^.
