Hi

So i have just installed LM for the first time in 2 years and im having an issue with CPU temps. Deb and Ubuntu idle stayed around 30-35 however mint is registering at a whopping 50.
I have purged unwanted apps and im idling at around 1.6gb ram so not alot in the background.... what is causing such high temps ?

Just to add i dont think the previous distros were reporting faulty data as the laptop is noticeably warmer on my lap
