Is there a way to install applications published for Ubuntu or Debian onto Linux Mint?
Post Body

The publisher advertises Debian and Ubuntu packages, but not Mint.

The sudo apt-get install openswitcher command works on Ubuntu 23.04 and installed a .deb file, but when I try it on Cinnamon Mint 21.2 it says:

E: Unable to locate package openswitcher.

I'm guessing I need to add a new source in the Software Sources application to get access to Ubuntu apps?

Or should I forget about the .deb version and try to install the flatpak version of openswitcher instead?
