Hello!

i'm using VLevel a lot, it's a Autolevel Plugin in LADSPA form, so i've been using it a lot via Audacious, because it has LADSPA plugin support. So currently i'm looking into how to do a setup with JACK, that is easy to reproduce each time i start the computer. The tools are minimal: carla for the effect andqjackctl for starting the jack server (but i'm not sure i need that). I played with the Session thing a bit in qjackctl but i didn't understand how to use it.

I want the setup to be flexible enough so that i can just shutdown JACK when i need a pure pulseaudio setup and have the setup come back easily after that.

I read about ladish and Non Session Manager but am not sure whether they really help me.

What i already did, is to have PulseAudio automatically route to JACK, when JACK starts, which helps a lot.

How would you people do that?
