mikegentry5 is having trouble getting the awesome revised text adventure Anchorhead on Steam, can anyone help?

I've been following the attempts to put it on Steam for Linux. Earlier this month, which I've only just noticed, he posted an update saying he's stumped: http://steamcommunity.com/games/726870/announcements/detail/1644249240190309861

I'm wondering if anyone here knows what the issue could be and possibly him out. Unfortunately, he seems a bit difficult to contact but he's been responsive on the Anchorhead discussion forums.

Keep in mind, the game is currently available on Itch.io and seems to work fine: https://mikegentry5.itch.io/anchorhead

For those us who, unfortunately, have most of their game library tied up in Steam I'd be nice to have.
