Post Body

I will firstly state Linux to me is fantastic, like magic and ticks so many boxing. Like making it my own, privacy, choosing what I want to update and the choices. Now I will say I don't have any problems with windows it does the job, I just wish I had more control over it.

Mainly I game and I'm using a Nvidia GPU with my laptop. And it also feels like when I've switched in the past, I've lost alot of performance in games with Proton, the laptop ran hotter, and things didn't work. I know most of my collection now does work mainly Apex legends and Doom, I just wanted to gauge those who have been in the same boat, both who dual boot, or are Windows/Linux.

I do not want to dual boot, I just want one OS and be done with it. Some other things I noticed is alt tabbing out of games seems to break a fair few, and I do this alot, is this still the case?
