DoD Career and Learning Linux
Post Body

I’m looking at working for a DoD contracting position upon leaving the military and was curious what version on Linux would be the best version to familiarize myself with. I would like to learn and practice Linux to eventually be able to take my Linux exam as well as perform DoD duties. Most contracting companies use Red Hat or Centos in my area so I wasn’t sure if I start there or if I go with Ubuntu to achieve these goals. I will be using a spare laptop with a dual boot set up. Thanks for the advice in advance.
