Hello!
I've been using for quite a while a Huion GT-156v2 display tablet with Arch (Endeavour OS), barely making it with the digimend driver. After an update last week, the tablet disconnected (I could hear the sound thing) and realized it was the pen battery that ran out of it. Charged it a day later and when I now try to use it the computer simply doesn't recognize the pen, although it recognizes the tablet when I connect it. (I think?)
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the digimend driver, rebooting my computer several times (which used to work before because it also disconnected and stopped working after a reboot), and recently updated it to the last version, yet I get no response from the tablet.
For the record the hdmi still works, I can still use it as a second monitor, but it doesn't receive the pen input.
I doubt the pen is dead, because when I connect it to the charger, it turns on with a white light (which means it's on/working/charging), and I've tried using it while being connected, as I read when I googled the issue, and it still doesn't work.
What else could I do?
My last resource would be adding a windows in dual boot (yikes) and check that effectively could be linux and not my tablet :(, but I prefer to look for solutions here (since I'm scared to ruin the boot if I install it)
Edit: I just tried it using live ubuntu 20.04 and it still doesn't work.
Thank you so much :D! <3 Anything helps.
