I am trying to write a script that will copy the "Save" folder, located in /home/myusername/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Diablo II/Saves, and save it as a compressed file to the directory /home/myusername/Documents. I have tried googling how to use different commands and i just keep getting all kinds of errors when running in terminal, usually "cannot stat: directory not found". Would anyone mind showing me an example of how to do this properly with a line by line explanation? I realize this is a lot to ask someone to do, and if no one does I understand. If you do take time to help a frustrated noob, bless you and all your children :) Thank you for your time reading this and if you decide to help me learn.
