Loving the customization options of the KDE desktop environment for Linux Mint 18.2, but not the screen tearing. Please help a noob

As the title states, having issues with tearing on KDE Linux Mint 18.2. Would love some help trying to resolve these. As far as Desktop environment's go, KDE is my favorite and the UI customization is the best (I love the eye candy options). I've googled around and tried to mess with the built in compositor settings to no avail. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. My video card is an Nvidia GTX 670 and Im using a triple monitor setup with each monitor supporting 1080p.
