Please help. I've been trying for days to flash and install Mint and Ubuntu onto USB flash drives for days with no success at all
Post Body

As the title says. I've went to walmart multiple times, bought multiple USBs. Trying to flash Mint/Ubuntu onto multiple of these USBs, plugging them in, clicking "Install Mint/Ubuntu" after booting up from the USB. Only for it to ask me questions about wanting to erase the whole computer and only have Mint (I don't want to do), install it on something, or something else. When I click something else and try to find my USB (Usually a 16gb or 32gb) I just get find the SSD or other bullshit that isn't the USB I have plugged in and want to install Mint/Ubuntu on.

I've tried doing this on multiple USBs only to fuck up the USB and only have an unusable default user linux kernal on multiple USBs. Basically pointless. Can someone help me PLEASE?
