Does the Linux kernel store drivers needed for every system, or does it only keep drivers for the system it's installed on?
Post Body

Saw my kernel file at /boot/initrd.img is 81.2MB. That seems pretty small for having every driver, but maybe it would be a lot smaller and load faster if it only included the drivers I need.
