Ancient Conlangs?
Post Body

Would there be, generally speaking, structural differences between a constructed language and a naturally evolved language? Or, to rephrase it, if you had full knowledge of a language's grammar and vocabulary, but no additional context, and did not know if it was an artificial language or an obscure natural language, would there be anything about the language itself that would tip you off one way or the other?

If a constructed language caught on or was created and imposed upon a certain people and then caught on, and evolved naturally for a long time, would any of the aforementioned signs remain?
