Can't target friendly in combat

all of a sudden I'm having issues targeting any friendly once I target an enemy in combat. I can literally spam click them and my target wont change until the enemy is dead. Sticky target is off (which shouldnt affect it with it being a new selected target) and I've gone through my addons and settings multiple times. help?
