Maybe this is obvious to everyone else, but Electrum uses a capacitive switch plate on their sabers and this has some drawbacks. That means that the switch is touch sensitive and not very programmable. You can change the duration the button has to be pressed, but actions cannot be remapped (the switch has three "zones"). Depending on what saber you get and how you hold it, your hands will overlap the switch and cause the saber to turn off during use. On my saber (Evo-Flex) the switch is in the middle/top portion of the saber, leaving very little room for my hand to grip above it without grabbing the blade, and not enough room for both hands below.
This isn't a huge deal, the saber is still very high quality and works really well, but if I'd been aware of this I may have gone a different route, and wanted to put this out there for anyone shopping.
