Creating my first saber from scratch
Post Body

I found this community a few days ago, and since the. I’ve been designing a lightsaber that I’d like to build from scratch with aluminium and copper (partly due to cost of shipping to Australia).

The one part that has me stuck is how I’m going to install the LED and blade at the top. I’ve tried looking everywhere for it, but I don’t know how to go about holding them in place, as well as what pieces I would need to purchase (LED, heat sink, etc)

Also, would 1” be enough for the blade and LED/heat sink to fit through?

Thanks.
