Looking for some design resources
Post Body

Hey everyone! I’m super new to lighting design and was hoping to find some resources on design theory.

I’m a sound designer, but am working on a theater show where I’m going to pick up the lighting too. The space already has all the instruments and whatnot, and the programming isn’t a problem, so it’s really just the design itself I’m looking to improve on. Things like, “this color is going to be better behind while another does the front” “throw in a little of this to add to a look” I dunno, just kind of looking for some pointers. I know, super broad and vague, but are there any YouTube series people would recommend? Any that break down different looks? Thanks!
