Hey sorry to be back so soon but I finally got the top of the lighter disassembled and the flint wheel cleaned so I went out and bought some flint. However when I put the flint in I wasn’t even close to being able to put the spring back in. I looked at the top and the flint is completely hard and I’ve been trying for around to hours and I’ve barely even gotten it to budge. I’ve put alcohol on the top of it, tried through the flint tube, scraped at it, used WD-40 on it (it is completely wiped off and is no longer on the lighter) and I still can’t get the old flint to move. I think that the person who owned it beforehand used flint that was to big thus getting it stuck. Is there any hope of being able to fix it?
