Just want to vent/constructively criticize for a moment. As an owner of a plethora of LIFX products, LIFX tiles are by far the most painful thing to get working correctly. I’m trying to mount them in a W pattern on my wall, but every time I get close to correctly installing them one of the wires gets unplugged or a tile shifts etc… They look beautiful on the floor when I tested them, but if you were considering buying them please consider how much of a pain these are to install correctly without issues. It would be so nice if the tiles had some sort of locking mechanism for the wire, rather than just friction fit holes throughout the tile border. The cables also feel thicker than they need to be, also not very flexible. I understand it’s a discontinued product, and the ones they have left are on sale, but I’m just surprised how non-user friendly these are compared to the beams. If anyone has insights or tips on how to install these, I’ll accept them greatfully!
