Light strips keep blinking colors

I’ve had this happen to two different sets of strips. Suddenly I can’t control them and whenever I turn them on they just blink a repeated color pattern.

Or they’ll blink for a while. I turn them off. And then back on. And I’m able to control them how I’d like. But at some random interval they go back to blinking this colored pattern.

Any idea what I should do. I’ve tried resetting and still wind up with this issue.
