My name is Kevin and I develop the Light DJ app. Ever since I began building the iOS version of the app over 2 years ago the #1 question from people has always been “When’s the Android version coming out?!”

Well after months of hard work learning Android, developing the UI, and thoroughly testing the app, I’m happy to report that I'm making the beta of Light DJ for Android available today!

This initial release includes the popular Visualizer controller that intelligently analyses music in real-time and changes the colors and lighting effects to match the mood of the music.

If you’d like to try out the beta for free, I’d love to get your feedback! Send me a message (/u/ibuprofane) and let me know what Android device(s) you’ll be using, as well as the Android version if you know it (the app is designed for Jellybean or newer.) I’ll also need your Google Play account email address to add you to the list.
