No HomeKit recovery code for switch

Whenever I tried to get the HomeKit code for my switches it never displays one. I reboot the switch like the instructions say, it gives me the option to pair the switch, and when I click get code it brings me to a page that doesn’t display a code. I’ve added a photo of what the page looks like.
Anyone have any suggestions?
