Iām curious to ask if anybody feels that they would make different choices after the game ended, especially in light of the town council meeting and whether you gained the support of each character. Since Jed gets justice anyway, I donāt believe I would have done anything differently lol even though I didnāt get the support of all the members.
Here are my outcomes and my justifications:
Charlotte - did not support Alex: I encouraged Charlotte to sign the affidavit because the money was life changing to her and could send Ethan to college. I took her emotions away because I felt that after the scene she was genuinely out of control and in danger of hurting herself or Ethan. I donāt regret losing her support because I believe she should take the money and I didnāt want her to get hurt.
Eleanor - did not support Alex: I actually went out of my way to track Riley down to tell her Eleanorās secret before she left because I really believe Riley had a right to know. I know I would want to know if a mother figure close to me was struggling silently with dementia. Eleanor clearly needed help with her condition, so I was fine with losing her support over this.
Duckie - supported Alex: I loved the scene where Alex helped him with his grief so Iām happy he backed us in the end.
Pike - supported Alex: I chose to take his fear because I really wanted to get out of the police station.
Ryan - did not support Alex: this kinda hurt but was a consequence of not winning over Charlotte and Eleanor. I can understand his reaction of siding with his father though.
Steph - supported Alex: I romanced her but I think sheās the only character that would have supported Alex anyway.
Overall I donāt regret any of my choices even though it might not be the ābestā ending. I enjoyed the game but ended up feeling like my choices didnāt matter because there were no real consequences to losing council support or staying in/leaving Haven. Itās very different from previous games where the final choice felt super monumental.
