So obviously by now, we all know that episode 3, while still a good episode, did have its share of flaws, many due to the fact that it had to fit so much to wrap up the story in such a short space of time. Even with that being acknowledged, the scene in Rachel's dad's office really bothers me. First of all, Chloe is trespassing, and then she does all this ridiculously illegal crap in the office, and finally calls the cops and leaves Elliot to deal with the mess. At the least, Chloe would later have to talk with the cops since she's the one who dialed 911 and she'd have to explain the situation. Are we just supposed to assume she didn't get in any trouble for this because in reality the punishment would be quite severe. At the least, the ending of the game infers that Elliot was expelled from Blackwell. Then past the police stuff, this still leaves Rachel's dad who obviously wouldn't be happy about any of this. Are we also just supposed to assume that he lets Chloe off for all of this to protect the truth from Rachel? This game is pretty grounded in reality and the reality is that Rachel's dad would have to do a lot of talking with the police to explain the situation and I find it hard to believe that Rachel wouldn't hear about any of this mess. Honestly, I think this whole part of the game just wasn't planned out all too well, but I'm still wondering if there's something I'm missing here because to me it seems like a pretty big situation that'd be hard to keep hidden from Rachel and for Chloe to not get into serious trouble
