After finally fixing the game (thanks to this subreddit) i finished episode 1 for the second time.
I reported nathan - 65%
I made fun of victoria,- 26%
I intervened and helped out kate - 83%
I came put of hiding to intervene - 35%
I also managed to break the game while intervening between kate and david (chloe's dad).
I decided not to take the picture, and rewinded. I think I hit the right and left mouse button, so I rewinded and also stepped forward to look at Kate being yelled at.
I think the game registered where I was standing, but didn't register the choice I made to intervene. This caused me to be able to explore the area.
