How to easily get rid of flies

Fill a spray bottle with water and dawn dish soap.
Recently got rid of a huge infestation this way and it honestly pissed me off that the way I got rid of them was easier, simpler and cheaper than everything else I tried. The best part? Its soap and water so when you wipe it off you also clean whatever surface they were on.
Adults usually die pretty much instantly and the babies take a few more squirts. According to google theres borax in the soap that dries them out pretty instantly
