I did my bachelor's in Sweden, and studied from 2019 and just got my degree this february (I had a year lost because of illness and death in the family causing depression).
Problem is, I was supposed to do practicum but it got turned into text based exercises instead due to the pandemic, and during the other times i applied for chances i got denied behind other students, there just wasn't room for me. So here I am on the job hunt, and I'm trying to figure out what to do to "simulate" experience, whether that be brushing up on SQL and various database searches or going through the dewey tables. I guess my point with this post would be to ask the question, what makes you "feel" like a librarian? What practical skills do you feel are the most used and valued at your workplace?
