For context, I know in the U.S you need an MLIS, but I'm in Sweden where only a bachelors in LIS is needed to work as a librarian. I started studying during 2019 and had my mandatory internships replaced with essays due to covid, so I have no workplace experience.
The job market in Sweden for librarians is actually pretty good, so I'm not too worried about finding a post eventually. I'm just wondering, what are some things i can practice on while job searching that are relevant to librarianship? I've been doing some SQL practice, but aside from that I don't really have much "relevant" experience as i've mostly been working customer service during my studies.
So yeah, any technical systems worth looking over to get some experience with beforehand, or other things that makes my CV more appealing?
