I’ve dreamed of doing an 80% Glock build for the last few years, and with the recent shift in attention toward shutting that whole thing down, I decided it was time to do my build.
The frame is a black GST-9, and I’m in the process of cleaning it up now - drilled the holes, now I have to remove the rail tabs and the material in the front.
Here’s what I’m thinking for parts. I’m going with the compact grip, so it’ll effectively be a G19. I don’t want a crazy over-the-top competition pistol, I just want a decent range and carry gun at a good price that’ll never let me down.
Open to assembling the slide parts individually since I’ll probably want a custom rear plate, so individual parts recommendations (springs, etc.) welcome
Barrel: black, non threaded, open to suggestions
Sights: thinking these, but again, open to suggestions
TIA
