I have been a fan of the LGC for a while, and a member on and off for years. I just recently read an article from guns.com that came up searching for news articles featuring them that mentioned that they do some lobbying/education for politicians.
I would love it if they got more into that, and focused on lobbying/educating left-leaning politicians on behalf of left-leaning constituents. If they had an arm like NRA-ILA, or a Go-Fund Me for the purpose, I would definitely donate towards it. Am I the only one? I feel like our voice is lost because all of the lobbying is done by those on the right.
It seems especially important to have liberal gun owner's voices heard given what we expect in Nov; if the Dems sweep all 3 bodies, I feel that it needs to be communicated that it was not blank mandate for them with full support, but a rebuke to Trump and the right.
