I recently acquired a ww2 era scope and a reproduction side rail mount. My Mitched up Mauser was a perfect candidate. Re blued the bolt, darkened the stock a tad, and had the local smithy install the mount. Time to play around with scope placement in the mount and take it out to zero it.
