so I got my LG40 thinQ in 2018 and it's been paid off for quite some time now. the phone still works pretty well. the only issue I have w it is that occasionally when my notifications pop up on the lock screen, it will jus appear as an empty white box...so I'm assuming it's starting to glitch a bit (?) which isn't really a big deal, imo - it only seems to happen once or twice a week...but since my phone is about to be 4 yrs old I'm considering an upgrade. I'd like to get something else within the next month or 2. so I'm wondering what I should choose as my next device. I believe I read somewhere that LG is exiting the world of phones - meaning that they do not have plans to continue developing any new devices. my question is, should I give any consideration to the LG v50 or v60 as a possible option? or should I look into purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S21/Samsung Galaxy Note (w 5g) instead? I'm leaning more towards selecting a Samsung device rather than sticking w LG - especially bcuz the v50 and v60 aren't necessarily that new but I figured I'd check here first to see if anybody else has made the switch from LG to Samsung, and whether or not they're happy w their decision to do so...? 🙃
