So, Pie has been out in downunder for quite a while. And many have been able to update it via lg bridge. Cheers to them all.
However, i am one of those unlucky bastards who havent been able to update their phone at all. I have been here on countlesz occasions seeking for a way to update my phone. But hasnt been able to. On using LG bridge i get an error. The package gets downloaded but never updates the phone. It reaches 5% and phone restarts. God knows why.
I reached out to lg and was told that the updates are happening in batches. And since my phone was of the last lot from the factory, i might receive the update last. Which i think is bullshit. I have never heard of this crap. My phone was apparently manufactured sometime last year. And i dont think this is the case. Additionally, inahvent received the patches since August 2018. Inwas told the Patches comes directly from Google and not from LG. I had to send my phone for servicing early this year. Prior to which i was receiving updates regularly. I think i am being played by tech support at LG. They have asked me to ask google on patches issue. Can someone please shed some light on this?
I think i am being trolled by LG. I am thinking of taking this to Ombudsmen. My phone is unlocked, bought outright from JBHIFI.
