I just got a G8. It is my 3rd G series phone. Maybe you all know about this but a search here did not turn up any results. I used the LG Mobile Switch to move most things from my G6 to the G8. It actually worked pretty well (maybe 85%). It moved many settings, wallpaper, play store apps, and app screen positions. It took a while to get everything moved but I didn't have to dork around with things as much as I remember doing when moving to the G6. Amazon App store apps did not move over and were not expected to. One quirk I did notice was that for some apps they would start and then stop really quickly. These were not crashes but android popped up a message box asking if I wanted to stop, restart, or report the app. Uninstalling and reinstalling each of the apps with the issues resolved the crashing. Everything is mostly working now, but I wanted to drop this here to capture the experience/knowledge.
