I've ordered my wife and I each a new G6. Needless to say super excited. However she uses a wireless charger at night and I've been giving some thought to picking one up. Her's is a Samsung charger that she bought with her previous phone (S6). Will that charge her new G6? And several chargers I see on Amazon say that you need to buy a separate receiver for wireless charging to work with the G6 even though it is Qi and PMA enabled. This seems to mostly apply to Choetech chargers for some reason. Any reason this would be the case? Doesn't make sense that if the phone supports the charging standard, it would need a separate receiver in order to work.
