Tmobile update

So I got a push update this morning not lg update but a software was only 453mb if I rememebr correctly....but my my gripe is the screen of annoyance has popped up for me again any time I power off and power up the phone now I get a 30 sec-2 min delay of "android starting checking apps" only started today after said update anyone else getting this pop up on power up as well?
