Music deleted from SD card.
Post Body

Hey guys, so I am running a Verizon G4 VS986 on MM 6.0 and I have a really odd issue. After a battery swap my phone is losing all my music from the SD card.

The first time this happened the phone reported a corrupt SD card..at this time I wasn't doing clean shut downs.. Just pulling the battery with no apps open or running. So I blamed it on that (dirty dismount our something similar).

Going forward I always did clean swaps, so full power off until all lights are dead and then pop the cover and swap batteries.. Well just today it dumped all my music.. All my other files on the SD card are there (and this is a different SD card from the first dump) and just fine. Music folder is there... Just empty.

Doing some digging I found this: https://www.reddit.com/r/lgg4/comments/3rd2dp/google_play_music_wiping_data_from_sd_card/?ref=search_posts and other hits from Google. I don't use Google music though I have opened it to see if I liked it better than the stock player as I was looking for FLAC support. My Google music app has all default settings.

Anyone else see have this happen? My only guess is that Google music when the phone starts looks at the local music folder, sees me music as a local cache and dumps it per the long standing bug.

Any advice or places I should report this, please let me know as it always seems to happen when I travel, and makes airplane rides that much longer.
